This album was made in the summer of 2010 in Tuolomne County California in a small town called Chinese Camp on a strange ranch in the middle of nowhere that was apparently pretty happening in the sixties. Strange magickal invocations and intoxications fueled 2 weeks of sessions from which 2 days yeilded the material on the record. James and Jim flew out for the sessions after Jack and Robert had started putting together concepts for the record. Jack spent most of the time getting drunk talking to Roberts girlfriend Caroline about extremely paranoid subject matter like MKULTRA programming and stuff like that. These conversations would continue another year or two. Robert ate a lot of diet pills and threatened to murder every other person there and had hidden weapons all around the house. People walked around at night, people went through peoples things. Shit got scary. Animosity was high. On the ride back money was stolen and weapons were drawn... It was the heat that got to us.
